Gabriel
Franzeri
Developer working close to the metal — embedded systems and libraries inC / Rust / Go, plus fast, accessible web. Brazilian engineer based in Rome.

From electronics benches to embedded systems.
My first contact with programming was at a mechatronics technical school, learning low-level languages alongside electronics and mechanics. That blend stuck with me — I went deeper into C and Rust, sharpened advanced concepts in Python, and grew into JavaScript and TypeScript.
Professionally I've shipped with C#, Delphi, VB6, Python, Node.js and Go — always aiming to blend solid backend engineering with practical, real-world problem solving.
Experience & education
Fast, accessible web apps — Astro frontends, Sanity headless CMS, CI/CD automation, and backend services in Node.js (TypeScript) & Go.
Led development of advanced libraries in Rust, Go, C and Java. Built desktop applications and web APIs powering Embed's software solutions.
Ran the developer community & Discord bot (Node.js), built an NFT project, a WebRTC + WebSocket platform for remote device testing, and documented Elgin's automation libraries.
Automated Excel spreadsheets, expense reports and scheduling — early proof that the right script saves everyone's afternoon.
Math, physics and Portuguese grammar for elementary and high-school students.
Intensive, peer-to-peer, project-based coding school — rigorous curriculum built around strong programming, problem-solving and teamwork.
University degree in programming, database modeling, systems analysis and project management.
With Prof. Agnaldo Prandini Ricieri (ITA) — calculus, vector & variational calculus, operational research, statistics and differential equations, taught historically.
Electronics & mechanics for automated systems, electro-pneumatics, microcontrollers, PLCs and automated manufacturing — where it all started.
What I build
From dynamic libraries to full-stack products — engineered for portability, speed and clean interoperability.
Dynamic & static libraries in C, Rust and Go, with cross-language integration — e.g. generating DLLs in Rust from C and Go static libs, for Linux and Windows.
RESTful APIs in Node.js, Rust and Go — authentication, authorization, database integration, full CRUD, and Docker Compose setups for clean deployments.
End-to-end with Next.js, Node.js, Go, HTMX and Rust — microservices, auth, and dynamic interfaces with seamless front-to-back integration.
Efficient, non-blocking desktop apps with Tauri, Rust, C#, Delphi, VB6 and Python — robust libraries, DLLs and database integration under the hood.
Deep research into unfamiliar scopes, thorough requirements analysis, and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas before development begins.
High-performance PWAs with an app-like feel across devices — packaged to desktop or mobile with Tauri when needed, always fast and accessible.
Cross-platform with Tauri — one Rust core, everywhere.
Tauri is my favorite way to ship apps. A single Rust backend powers a lightweight web frontend, compiling to tiny, fast, secure binaries — for desktop and now Android mobile from the same codebase. Native performance, no Electron bloat.
